Ms Mitchell was an older lady who had started to struggle when entering and exiting the bath which was in situ. Her existing suite was at least 40 years old and featured led piping connecting the primrose yellow fixtures (bath, basin & WC) with a gloss black tile finish to the walls. The floor was carpet covered in a burgundy / rouge floral which concealed the matching black and yellow marley bowl vinyl flooring.
More Ability Surveyor & Designer, Garry Kirkbright wanted to create Ms Mitchell a stylish & accessible solution that would work for all present and future needs. Wanting minor functional upgrades given no real requirement for a mobility solution Garry suggested a large D shaped low level walk-in shower enclosure to aid ease of entry and exit.
The proposed solution was stylish in appeal and functional in use which Garry perceived as the perfect fixture for Ms Mitchells bath to shower room conversion.
The perfect combination of style and function meant Ms Mitchell could now enjoy an easy, safe and relaxing bathing experience for many years to come. To compliment the statement low level walk-in shower enclosure Garry designed the refurbishment works to include a modern wall mounted deep pedestal basin and back-to-wall WC.
“To Garry, Andy & all at Passmore’s. Thank you so much – we love the bathroom, it’s beautiful! Andy did a skilled job, very cheerful & helpful – we missed him when he’d gone.”
