In August of 2012 MoreAbility were asked to supply manpower / installation skills, equipment and materials for a Yorkshire family in order to help adapt their home. The works to adapt the bathroom, which formed part of a large scale home adaptation was carried out in record time and was shown as part of the hit BBC1 series, ‘DIY SOS: The Big Build’ which was aired in October 2013.

As I work at the Citizens Advice I spend my days dealing with companies who put their commercial consideration first at the expense of helping their customers. Martin the bathroom fitter was brilliant, hard working and friendly.
I was worried about the building work starting at my parents bungalow as both my parents have memory problems and get stressed easily but; because there is only one fitter on any job they got used to him and everything was fine.
